A Henderson husband, a political science graduate, and a Reagan conservative who believes government should work like good customer service.
Joe and Mary Lou Ludwig, Henderson, Nevada.
Born in California in 1970, Joe Ludwig has had a lifelong interest in politics and government. Hearing and reading the words of Ronald Reagan and Jack Kemp at an early age shaped his ideas and beliefs profoundly.
Joe eventually moved to Riverside, attending college there and becoming involved in the community. After marrying, Joe went back to school, graduating Cal Baptist University with his bachelor’s in political science and an MPA.
Joe and his wife Mary Lou were married in 2006. They moved to Nevada in 2017 both for the greater job opportunities for Mary Lou as well as the ability to have Joe’s mother spend her final years with them, something they could not afford to do in California. They live in Henderson along with their cats Sara and Klara, both rescues.
Nevadans work hard to achieve their dreams. That’s why I’m proud to be one!
I am running for State Assembly because Nevada is at a crossroads. Like California in the 1990’s, the decisions made today will affect this state for the next 25 years. We need thoughtful leaders with common sense ideas to make this state what it can be.
I believe my background, education, and personality will bring a new perspective to the State Assembly. Being the only child of a single mother, I understand struggle and hardship. My education has given me an insight as to how we can tackle our problems and create solutions.
Finally, I believe that, with the leadership and vision of Governor Lombardo, we can be the shining city on the hill that President Reagan was fond of talking about. After all, Nevadans work hard to achieve their dreams. That’s why I’m proud to be one!
